Beautifully functional, this artisan made utensil set was hand carved then accented with hand painted cow bone. Serve up any meal in style, whether you are entertaining or just enjoying some you time over a delicious plate of pasta.
Badala is the Swahili word for “instead”. Founder Joelle McNamara launched Badala in Kenya to provide an alternate source of income to local women formerly working in the sex trade. Since launching in Kenya in 2008, Badala has since expanded their employment and micro finance programs to women artisans across East Africa, Central America, and domestic sex trafficking survivors.
